lyrics

You're gone and nothing can change it.

You're gone. No tears I can show that would dig up the dirt, open the casket, return their condolences and gift baskets.

These feelings are worthless.

My family force-gifted me some of her past belongings. I guess I'm not the sentimental type to get worked up like they will.

I think I finally felt it, how I'm supposed to feel. I wrapped my arms around my mother and she screamed into my chest. And at the funeral I saw pain in so many shades, I dusted off my paca's grave, knew that someday I would do the same for her at somone else's funeral where I'd see so many shades of pain and walk away, but ultimately feel the same.
